Decide how safari and coast fit together
Nairobi, the Maasai Mara and Kenya’s coast offer different starting points. Choose the main purpose of your visit before adding every region. Put each airport, camp and coastal hotel on your route plan; a beach extension is a separate transfer, not simply another night at the safari property.
Request a complete safari breakdown
Ask for the named camp or lodge, nights in each location, vehicle arrangements, guide language and whether drives are shared. Request a breakdown of park charges, meals and transfers. Compare total party prices rather than a headline per-person figure whose occupancy assumptions may differ from yours.
Check the route to your camp
Compare a road transfer with a flight using the actual pickup and arrival points. For a light-aircraft connection, confirm the carrier’s current baggage rules and the camp transfer separately. Leave room for delays and avoid assuming independently booked connections are protected by one another.
Choose coastal stays by the experience
Decide whether you want time at the hotel, town exploration or excursions before choosing accommodation. Ask about pickup coverage and the terms of any water-based activity. Keep safari and Expedia confirmations separate; changing your flight does not automatically change a local operator reservation.
Before you book
Confirm current entry requirements for your nationality and check official travel advice. Schedules, access, prices and availability can change; ask the relevant provider before committing.
